Evo to je iz Joy of Baking, super stran drugače... Grami in mililitri so zraven... sem ti pa dopisala slovenski prevod sestavine zraven.
Red Velvet Cake:
2 1/2 cups (250 grams) sifted cake flour -gladka moka
1/2 teaspoon salt - sol
2 tablespoons (15 grams) regular or Dutch-processed cocoa powder -kakav(navaden grenek)
1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature -maslo(navadno neslano)
1 1/2 cups (300 grams) granulated white sugar -sladkor(navadni, beli, kristalni)
2 large eggs -2 veliki jajci
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract -vanilijev ekstrakt=vanilija
1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk -pinjenec(ima Špar Natur Pur)
2 tablespoons liquid red food coloring -rdeča barva za živila
1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar -bel kis
1 teaspoon baking soda -soda bikarbona
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 - 8 ounce (227 grams) cream cheese, room temperature -kremni sir(Filadelfija)
1 - 8 ounce (227 grams) tub of Mascarpone cheese, room temperature -mascarpone
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract -vanilija
1 cup (115 grams) confectioners' (icing or powdered) sugar, sifted -sladkor v prahu
1 1/2 (360 ml) cups cold heavy whipping cream (double cream) (35-40% butterfat)-sladka smetana
